R.O.E., Neak, Sincerely Yours, & Slot-A “Hear Ye’”

Sgt. Tibs posted January 31, 2012

Some of Chicago’s dopest underground cats link up once again with R.O.E. joining the trio of frequent collaborators in Neak, Sincerely Yours, & Slot-A for “Hear Ye’”. In fact, Slot drops an intense production that the emcees match with hard lyrics and flow. This one could get you hyped, but for me personally, it’s not as impactful as some of the other records that these artists have produced. That said, “Hear Ye’” is not without its clever lines (Neak’s Jerry Sandusky reference being my favorite) and slick verses (the crown goes to Sincerely Yours for that). A worthy add to your rotation and one that may grow on you!

Olivia & Fred The Godson “Freshy”

Olivia and Fred The Godson sing and rhyme about what’s fresh in this new track… err… “Freshy”. Not quite the combo you’re expecting to see so if the curiosity hits you, hit that play button above.

“Lehhhgooo” and get hyped to this new joint from N.O.R.E. featuring a trio of pals in Busta Rhymes, Game, & Waka Flocka. The beat first attracted me to this one so maybe it’ll do the same for you all the way through.

Mack Maine “In My City RMX” f/ Royce Da 5’9″ & Talib Kweli

Sgt. Tibs posted January 31, 2012

Mack Maine drops some new bars over “In My City” and keeps Royce Da 5’9″ & Talib Kweli from the original for some full version feel to it. Hopefully you’re not sleeping still on the contributions from the latter two.

Bow Wow “Sweat” f/ Lil’ Wayne [Music Video]

Kuda posted January 31, 2012

After already hearing this club hit for a few months now, Bow Wow finally decides to drop the official music video for “Sweat”, featuring Lil Wayne. A typical Bugatti-stuntin, flashy video from YMCMB here. You can catch this track off Bow Wow’s over due album, Underrated, dropping sometime this Spring. YMCMB ya dig? Enjoy!
