Gym Class Heroes talk “The Papercut Chronicles 2″ experiences

Alright so you’re bumpin’ “Cupids Choke Hold”, “Cookie Jar”, and most likely “The Queen and I” - mesmerized by the amazing voice and instrumentals that you’re jamming to. If you knew what great music and wonderful entertainment was, then you should already know who the Gym Class Heroes are!

Maks, Stan, and I met up with the vocals of the GCH band — the beautiful, humorous, colorful (I could go on for days) Travie McCoy (whose got a smile that would make the most senile annoying old man bite his tongue) — as well as the witty and extremely charming drummer Matt McGinley, who both took stage at the 7-Eleven Slurpee MixMaker in CHIIICAAAGOOO.

I would be lying if I said I wasn’t intrigued by every single thing that Travie and Matt said, and luckily you can listen to the humble boys talk about the Vans Warped Tour, testosterone, studio time (and why it’s so special), touring, their next album The Papercut Chronicles II, and the recent collaboration with Adam Levine for their single “Stereo Hearts”. (AND THEN I asked Travie out on a date and he said yes………..oh wait, nevermind.)

Not to mention, the one and only famous rapper, Hollywood Holt, was in the house (who is a great friend of GWHH) looking stylish of course – supporting his boy Travie. If you ever want a great time with outrageous and vividly detailed stories just put him and Travie in the same room, and you’ll have nothing but a great time with laughs.

Enjoy the interview above and keep a look out for The Papercut Chronicles II. I’m not even kidding, I want everyone to buy it when it comes out.

Shout out to Stan Perry for the phenomenal camera/video work!

Much l-o-v-e.

Samantha Lebbos, Travie McCoy, Matt McGinley, Hollywood Holt, & Maks G
