After some technical issues, I am back with a new music update and leading things off is none other than talented up and coming songstress Kamilah Sumner with her new mixtape, Heart Of A Lion. The mixtape takes its namesake from Sumner's wonderful, unique version of Kanye West's "Say You Will" and also boasts features from Kanye West on the bonus track "You" (sounds like an older Kanye), Mikkey Halsted and producers No I.D., Bobby Creekwater, and Needlz. But don't let the features fool you into thinkin' she can't carry a song on her own because she does just that with perhaps the best example being "Push", which reminds me of a mid-90s jam.

Definitely take a look at the mixtape above and the full LP from Pugs Atomz & Rashid Hadee, leading things off below. YP keeps things Chicago with a brand new record "I'm On My Way" that I'm gonna keep goin' back to because of the monumental feeling in the production from Sire. YP has some nice moments and it's one that I think will grow on me. Other songs include an interesting collab from Chip Tha Ripper, Curren$y, Big Sean, and Chuck Inglish and one featuring bigger names in Gucci Mane, Lil' Wayne, & Cam'Ron (shouts 2 NR). R&B and pop fans can dig some new tunes from the likes of The-Dream, Chris Brown, Jay Sean & Craig David, Timbaland, and more as videos include a couple live looks at B.o.B. and Kid Cudi, who is supposedly performing a new song.
