A bunch of NEW trax for the middle of the day, including more USHER! Haha, prolly the last we’re posting of his material from the latest album but if this is the quality of the BONUS track on Here I Stand, then we’re shaping up for a great album. I really like the vibe 2 the track above and its just captivating all around – beat, tempo, lyrics… judge for urself above. Below you can find a bunch of NEW trax f/ T.I., Nas, Yung Berg, and many MORE! But ya’ll should scroll a lil farther down and get that Kenna/Lupe Fiasco RMX and the first track leaked off of Common’s upcoming (Kanye-less) album, Invincible Summer. Both those songs are ridiculous and u gotta hear Common spit over a high tempo Neptunes beat. Pretty sweet and could def grow on me even more! Enjoy!

My apologies for rollin’ thru late 2day… was traveling w/o cpu access for nearly half the day, but a ton of updates for 2day with the “Moving Mountains” premiere above! It is supposed 2 be a continuation of the “Love In This Club” video where Usher is standing in the wreckage from the club burning down around him from the previous video. Definitely a more powerful video with all the imagery and special effects that u should see for urself. CHICAGO BULLS GET THE #1 PICK! DERRICK ROSE!?!?!

The above image says it all! (AND yes, I know this is slightly off topic, but hey, we’re from Chicago.)

So hopefully this becomes a reality! The Bulls overcome overwhelming odds and get the #1 pick in the 2008 NBA Draft with only a 1.9% chance of that happening! I still can’t believe this and it is almost 2 perfect that the best player/prospect in the draft happens 2 be the anointed 1 from Chicago, IL – DERRICK ROSE! Now, Michael Beasley actually solves a lot of the Bulls’ problems, but c’mon, Derrick Rose belongs in a Chicago Bulls uniform… if John Paxson is reading this (hahaha…) do what you can 2 trade our existing guards, get a big guy who can run with Rose and we’ll be set and you’ll win back the Chicago fans. If we pass on Rose it could be damaging 2 our fan base.

Wow, I can go on, but its really about the music and we’re staying with a Chicago flava with a SIIIIICK cover of T.I.’s mega-hit “What You Know” by the Chicago R&B fellas One Chance featuring their protege u may have heard of… Usher as well as Rico Love! Definitely a unique take @ one of my favorite tracks that ya’ll should definitely DL! Also, while u wait, you can peep a sick LIVE performance of “The Light”, “Stronger”, “The People”, & “Flashing Lights” by CHI-Town’s own Common & Kanye West! Ahhh, what a great day… be back in the Chi 2morrow afternoon as well! JYEA! Enjoy!

Here I Stand leaked out 2day and above are a couple trax that have interested me since seeing the official tracklist due 2 prolly my 2 favorite producers on the boards – Danja & StarGate! Both songs do NOT disappoint and if the rest of the album contains a quality mix of the uptempo beats and slow jams like this, then Usher has another surefire hit album 2 add 2 his long list of achievements. Usher displays what many consider the best voice in R&B in “What A Man’s To Do” while also singing and telling a great story through his lyrics over a nice beat similar 2 other StarGate produced songs – Chris Brown “With You” & Ne-Yo “Go On Girl”. Prolly my favorite of the 2 if I had 2 choose and will definitely be one of my favs of the album, once I hear the whole thing next Tuesday (gotta wait… ) Below, u can check out a few more NEW trax, most notably the well-timed Nas drop of “N.I.G.G.E.R. (The Slave & The Master)”, in light of the news that he will be changing his album’s controversial title from Nigger 2 a yet 2 be determined name. Enjoy!

NEW Cool Kids! Couldn’t get up on this til now but above is a couple trax leaked from the upcoming Bake Sale EP, hitting iTunes and the streets 2morrow! Talk about a fresh new sound… if that’s what u are looking for, I can’t stress enough about the Chicago/Detroit hip hop duo – The Cool Kids. They are rapidly growing for me personally as well as the versatile flows over some of the most unique sounding beats I’ve heard in awhile create a real fresh, distinct sound. The songs above are no exception as they spit with a slow flow 2 match the raw beats. And I hadda share this NBA-inspired lyric below cuz the metaphor here is so on point, it’s ridiculous.

Below, you can check out another Chicago track (big ups 2 FSD) by Chi ILL & G.O.O.D. Music’s GLC that might take me a couple listens for it 2 grow on me and it has a lil’ bit of an addicting chorus. I also hit u guys up w/ a couple mainstream trax… Ciara’s 1st single off her upcoming album w/ Ludacris – Ciara hitting them really high notes over a crunk beat that makes for an interesting sound at least. The R&B group Rock City also released their cover of T.I.’s latest hit “No Matter What” and finally, Idle Warship hits us with their controversial video for their latest track, “Fall Back”, a web video illustrating their letter 2 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Enjoy!
