And if your one of the many people becoming swept up in the 50/Kanye rivalry that will culminate the week of September 11, it may shock you that they were on the same stage and performed in New York just last night! As weird as that may sound, 50, Kanye, Jay-Z, Diddy, & Swizz Beatz helped make hip-hop history Wednesday night as they joined Screamfest Tour headliners T.I. & Ciara on stage, pleasantly surprising the 20,000+ Madison Square Garden attendees. Ciara and T.I. switched off sets and performed their collaborations with their respective features (Ciara & 50 for “Can’t Leave ‘Em Alone” and T.I. & Jay for “Watch What You Say To Me”) and more and more of the superstar guests came out to perform their own hits and ending with T.I. closing his show with “What You Know” and “Big Things Poppin’ (Do It)”. Literally all the above guests were on the stage at the same time w/ 50 and Kanye pounding fists along with the others. Simply an awesome sounding event that I definitely wish I was at.
